The Isterinkoski rapids in the Poikajoki River fall nearly thirty metres and span millions of years in the geological record.Visit Lake Oulujärvi, the fourth largest lake in Finland, covering almost 900 km².Local museums, such as Lamminaho Farm and the Kalevala village of Ahmas, preserve traditional ways of life and support educational activities focused on sustainability.
