York

Port Flinders (Weeroona Island), South Australia.

York was a cutter built in 1862 and lost on 1930. The York had a long life with the steam tug company being eventually sold to Port Pirie in 1925. Her final resting place is on the beach of the Weeroona Island, at the head of Spencer Gulf, and very little of the vessel now remains.
